MAWKYRWAT: The South West Khasi Hills District Swimming Association in collaboration with the office of the District Sports Officer, Mawkyrwat on August 15, 2018 organized the ‘2nd Open Water Swimming Competition’ at Phot Umnew river in Mawkyrwat as part of the Independence Day Celebration, 2018.
All together 70 participants participated in the competition.
The best swimmer of the competiton goes to Nestarland Thongni while the prize for the Most Promising Swimmers goes to Khrawkupar Lyngdoh and Ishalis Lyngkhoi.
