EKH teen loses hand while cutting wood

SHILLONG: On Friday around 4:24 pm, one M Mawlong called 108 from Langiong  as 18-year-old Banpyntngenlang Swer’s left wrist was amputated by a wood-cutting machine and was bleeding severely. First aid was administered and the patient was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong by Mawphlang based 108 ambulance.
Another accident on the same day left 54-year-old Jeronsing Marbaniang with injuries when he was hit by a vehicle at 11th Mile Mylliem around 6:11 pm. After administering first aid, the patient was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong by Pomlum  based 108 ambulance.
On the same day, one Lobrensing Mylliem Pdah (35) sustained injuries when his two-wheeler skidded near Sohryngkham main road around 7:45 pm. First aid was administered and the patient was shifted to Civil Hospital by Mawryngkneng  based 108 ambulance.
