NONGSTOIN: The Nongstoin Anti-Narcotic Cell, West Khasi Hills, has arrested one person identified as Protarsius Marwein for selling drugs.
Marwein was arrested from Siejlieh Mawiaban locality while selling suspected heroin.
A team led by SDPO, Mairang, H.P. Kharkongor raided the house of Marwein and recovered 12.19 grams of suspected heroin powder.
The police have seized the drugs and a case has been filed under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
