Minors drown
Espingroy Myrthong lodged an FIR that on September 1, an eight-year-old boy and his sister aged 6 accidentally fell into a river at Mawiaban village (West Khasi Hills) and drowned. Necessary formalities were observed.

Minor girl abducted
Lucy Langstang of Saphai village (West Jaintia Hills) lodged a complaint that on August 28 around 7 am, miscreants abducted a minor girl viz., Deimimaya Langstang (14).

Husband threatens wife
A thirty-five year old woman lodged a complaint that her estranged husband Stishar Marbaniang used to threaten her with dire consequences and disturbed her with derogatory statements against her family members. The accused took away three of her minor sons without any consent and also threatened to abduct her thirteen-year-old daughter.

Motorcycle missing
Wilbert D Sangma lodged a complaint that on September 1 around 2.30 pm, his motorcycle (ML-08A-8757) was found missing from Ampati market (South West Garo Hills).

Theft
On September 1 at about 8.30 pm, Sharlin Kharkongor stole cash Rs. 10,000 from the house of Janata Jyrwa at Madanrting, Block-C, Shillong.
Dipankar Das lodged a complaint that on September 1, unknown miscreants stole two construction machineries valued around Rs. 8,340 from a construction site at Zikzak Bazar (SWGH).
Vanlalruata Zote lodged a complaint that on September 3 around 3.15 pm, Manish Dorjee forcibly entered his house at Madanrting, Block-A, Shillong and attempted to commit theft. However, the complainant managed to apprehend him and later handed him over to police.

Donations collected forcibly
A complaint was lodged that on August 30 and 31, some NGOs forcibly collected donation at Salbaripara village (West Garo Hills) and also assaulted some villagers.

Miscreants steal; assault family
Lal Mohan Modok of Bioragipara village (South West Garo Hills) lodged a complaint that on August 22, eight persons Gauranga Das, Raju Das, Krishna Das, Bapan Das, Gheta Roy Das, Gobinda Das, Rosimal Koch and Nibedan Paul entered his house, disrobed his daughter, assaulted her and other family members. They also took away cash Rs. 11,000, gold ornaments valued around Rs. 1,26,000.
