Free cataract screening camp organised

Shillong: A free cataract screening camp was conducted at Marngar in Ri Bhoi in which 128 people turned up for eye check ups.
The camp was organised by Seva Bharati Meghalaya and Sri Sankardeva Nethtalaya, Guwahati with the support of Seva Bharati Purbanchal on Sunday.
10 patients were detected with cataract and will be treated for free at Sri Sankardeva Nethralaya (SSN). Surgery will also be performed on October 9 at SSN hospital in Guwahati.
