Rotary Club honours teachers

Shillong: The Rotary Club of Shillong organised the ‘Nation Builder Award’ ceremony at Rotary Corner in Shillong Club on September 14.
The award is an initiative of Rotary India Literacy Mission and is given to outstanding teachers for their.
Five teachers were selected and felicitated by club president Rtn. Kailash Varma and senior Rotarians with a citation, Rs. 3000 and an indoor potted plant which they were requested to nurture like they nurture the students. The awardees are Careen E.G. Marbaniang from Mawkhar Christian School, Sunita Wankhar from Laban Assamese School, Langsibon Ranee from Seng Khasi Higher Secondary School, Ranjana B. Sun from Assamese LP School, Laban and Valvina Shylla from Sein Jaintia Secondary School, Shillong.
