Motorcycle stolen
Bidyut Barman lodged a complaint that on October 10 between 11.30 am to 2 pm, miscreants stole his motorcycle from the premises of District Education Office, Ampati.

Electrocution
On October 9, Klios Shadap (34) of Larnai village in West Jaintia Hills, while cutting a bamboo, came in contact with 11KV power line and got electrocuted.

Body found
Donboklang Mawlong (23) of Umpling Lumdiengmet, lodged an FIR that his father Neroland Thabah was found missing since October 7 and the next day around 7 am, his body was found in a nearby jungle of the locality.

Three held for killing fish
Lamphrang Wanshong lodged a complaint that on October 7 around 2.30 pm, three persons, M. Sangma, Kebis D Sangma and Nirang Sangma were caught red-handed while they were administering bleaching powder to kill fishes at river Umnuid. They were handed over to police who arrested them.

Assault
John A Sangma son of Nibar Roy Shanpru lodged a complaint that on October 5, two persons Mes Syiemlieh and Wanbor Syiemlieh assaulted his father and threw him on the bank of river Kaimara at Pataghat village, East Kkhasi Hills. Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to PHC Ryngku for treatment.

Goods stolen from truck
Raj Kumar lodged a complaint that on October 4 around 1 am, one goods laden truck (AS-01-FC-9183) belonging to M/s Gati Kintetsu Express Pvt. Ltd., capsized on the road at Umsarong village, East Jaintia Hills. After the incident, miscreants took advantage of the misfortune and stole the goods valued around Rs. 16,17,731 from the truck.
