Programme on career guidance and counseling held

TURA: A programme on career guidance was held on Tuesday at Christ King Secondary School, Kharkutta for students of Secondary and Higher Secondary schools of the region. The program was sponsored by the North Garo Hills District Administration in collaboration with the Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Meghalaya.

 Kharkutta MLA, Rupert Momin who attended the programme as the Chief guest enlightened the students and parents on the need to be aware of various career opportunities available in government sector as well as in private sector and urged them to work hard to be successful individuals.

 Assistant Employment Officer, Kajorie Sangma and Skill Development Officer (ADB), Peter Marak were the resource person in the program. Principal of Christ King Secondary School, Fr Anthony also spoke at length about various career options available in today’s world.
