Appointment
The DC (Supply), East Jaintia Hills District invites applications from interested persons/firms/cooperative societies for fresh appointment as Government Nominees in TPDS of the District, Khliehriat for 2019. The names and numbers of the wholesale centres are Khliehriat, Sutnga, Rymbai, Lumshnong, Umkiang. Duly filled applications in prescribed Form 1 of the Meghalaya Food grains (PDS) Control Order, 2004 should be submitted to the office of the DC on or before November 21 during office hours. Preference will be given to the applicants who have basic IT Hardware and Internet Connectivity to update the stock of food grains online.

Workshop
Department of Mathematics St. Mary’s College will organise a two-day workshop for secondary school teachers of rural areas teaching mathematic at the College auditorium on November 16 and 17. The workshop will be organised as part of their golden jubilee celebration. Joint secretary, Finance Department, Cyril V Darlong Diengdoh will be the chief guest.
