National seminar begins at Umiam

SHILLONG: The two-day National Seminar on Achieving Sustainable Development Goals 2030: Education as a Catalyst was inaugurated on November 15 at North East Regional Institute of Education, (NCERT) Umiam.
The objective of the conference is to deliberate upon the role of education as a catalyst in achieving SDG-2030, to deliberate different approaches and strategies in ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life-long learning for all, to share on different issues, concerns & challenges in achieving the sustainable development goals 2030 and the role of education in addressing these.
To document the innovative ideas and educational interventions in order to achieve the sustainable development goals 2030.
