Agnes needs surgery for fractures

SHILLONG: CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing who is undergoing treatment at NEIGRIHMS continues to be under Neuro Surgery Ward observation and physiotherapist care.
A statement issued by John Kharshiing said Agnes will take “some time to recover to be able to undergo surgery for her other injuries and fractures”.
Amita Sangma, another activist who was also assaulted along with Agnes, is also recovering slowly.
The activists continue to have visitors from various organisations as well as the public.
