Three kids among 11 injured in accidents

SHILLONG: Eleven persons, including three children and a teenager, were injured in separate accidents in the last two days.
A 32-year-old rider, identified as Donald Dorphang, was injured when his scooter skidded at Mawlai Phudmuri around 9 pm on Sunday. 108 Ambulance shifted him to Robert Hospital.
Andy Kharsati (5), Ribhanisha Kharsati (15) and Rihana Kharsati (11) met with an accident when the car they were travelling in overturned at Pomlahier around 4.20 pm.
Mohindro Roba (32) was injured when the car he was in hit another vehicle at Demsieniong Junction around 2.30 am on Saturday.
A 17-year-old boy dashed his scooter against a tourist vehicle in Mylliem around 4pm. The victim, Suraj Guri, is suspected to have fractured his right leg.
Bacinus Malai (31) and Silvanus Malai (29) sustained injuries when their vehicle fell into a gorge at Sumer.
The injured were later admitted in nearby hospitals.
Shirowell Roy Jana lost control of his car, went to the wrong side of the road and hit a drain near Sohiong bypass around 12.45 am on Saturday. The 23-year-old man was injured and was first taken to a nearby CHC and later shifted to NEIGRIHMS by a 108 Ambulance.
A 45-year-old cyclist was hit by a vehicle at Damalgre in Tura around 6.13pm.Tarek R Marak suffered head injury and was admitted in Tura Civil Hospital.
Between R Sangma (33) met with an accident when he was riding his bike and fell down at ICAR Highway around 11.32 pm. The victim sustained multiple serious injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong by 108 Bhoirymbong Ambulance.
