Justice Thangkhiew felicitated

SHILLONG: Hamarsan Sing Thangkhiew, who was recently appointed as a Meghalaya High Court judge, was felicitated jointly by the Shillong Bar Association, the High Court of Meghalaya Bar Association and the District Council Bar Association here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir congratulated Thangkhiew and welcomed him to the bench.
Justice Thangkhiew, the first Khasi judge of the Meghalaya High Court, while speaking on the occasion said he was overwhelmed with the love and appreciation shown by the bar. Senior lawyers were also present on the occasion.
