SHILLONG: The North East Hill University Teachers’ Association (NEHUTA) has filed an appeal in the division bench of the High Court of Meghalaya against the abolition of the Hill Area Special Allowance (HASA) by the Vice Chancellor.
NEHUTA president X.P.Mao said that they have filed the petition in the division bench as HASA was abolished by the vice chancellor by manipulating the minutes of the EC.
