Donkupar inaugurates tourist sites near Pynursla

SHILLONG: Assembly Speaker Donkupar Roy who is also the MLA from Shella constituency inaugurated the tourist spots at Mawkliaw and Kemrang falling under the Sohra Syiemship on Friday.
The place is only a few kilometers away from Pynursla.
The inaugural function was held at the hill top of Lum Wahdop.
At the hill top, benches made of bamboo were set up and view points were erected where people can have a bird’s eye view of Sohra, Pynursla and the river, Wah Rew.
Other tourist spots inaugurated on the same day were Wah Mawdait, Mot Juda in which people can get a view of Bangladesh and other villages of War region, root bridges at Wah Umlwai and Wah Shari, and caves such as Krem Duriap.
