Meghalaya IAS body mourns Jopthiaw’s death

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya IAS Association has condoled the death of Jopthiaw Lyngdoh, IAS (Retired) on Wednesday.
In a meeting held at the office chamber of the chief secretary, the association expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
Lyngdoh, who passed away on December 30, was a leader with rare quality of being able to relate to all sections of his officers and employees. As a team leader, he was able to make significant contributions in all the departments he was associated with. He will be greatly missed, the association said.
