Two killed, six injured in separate accidents

Shillong: Two persons were killed while six others were injured in separate accidents across the state.
On January 15 at about 7 am, a Tempo vehicle (ML-14-3259) driven by Solemon Ali met with an accident at Debajni Road (SWGH). As a result, three occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Mahendraganj, where one of the injured persons, Akash Ali, succumbed to his injuries.
On the same day, a dumper truck (ML-06-0772) driven by Charles Suting dashed against another truck (AS-01DD-7463) at Umsning By-pass (RB). As a result, drivers of both the trucks sustained injuries.
Jatila Diengdoh lodged a complaint that on January 10, her son Banshemlang Diengdoh died due to an accident with a Maruti Alto car (ML-05M-9773) driven by Palsang Tamang opposite PWD office, Shillong.
While on January 10, a motorcycle (without number plate) ridden by Robindro Koch, dashed against two pedestrians at Ichamati (EKH).
As a result, the pedestrians sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Ichamati. Later, one of the pedestrians, viz., Ambadon Khongjoh was referred to NEIGRIHMS.
Meanwhile, Rapbor Syiem lodged a complaint that on January 13 around noon, a scooty (ML-05P-3537) ridden by Ramslok Yadav went from the wrong side and dashed against his Maruti van (ML-05B-4711) at Nongrim Hills near petrol pump, Shillong.
