Rae Bareli: The proposed visit of United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi to her Rae Bareli Parliamentary constituency has been postponed but her son and Congress president Rahul Gandhi would be visiting his ward Amethi for two days from January 23.
UP Congress spokesperson Jishan Haider has confirmed on Tuesday that the proposed visit of Sonia to Rae Bareli has been cancelled. He said, however, Rahul Gandhi would stick to his proposed visit to Amethi . But Congress leaders in Amethi said that Rahul Gandhi, who was slated to reach Fhursatganj airport at 1000 hrs in the morning on Wednesday will now reach at around 1330 hrs due to some flight regulation in New Delhi.
