NONGPOH: Former Chief Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and five times MDC from Nongpoh Constituency, Rangkynsai Makdoh on Wednesday file his nomination paper to contest for the upcoming KHADC polls on a NPP ticket.
People’s Democratic Front (PDF) candidates who file nomination papers here at the office of the Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner included Mrs Macdalyne Sawkmie Mawlong from Umsning constituency, Witness Syngkli from Jirang Constituency, Joseph Makdoh from Mawhati Constituency and Patbun Syngkli who will be contesting form Nongpoh Constituency.
Till Wednesday, the number of the candidates from various political parties including independent candidates who filed their nomination papers from all five Constituencies of Ri Bhoi District rose to 20 including three candidates who filed their nomination papers on February 4.
