NESO secures Sena support

SHILLONG: After Congress, the Shiv Sena has now assured the North East Students’ Organisation (NESO) that it would go all out to vote against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill if it is brought in the Rajya Sabha
The assurance from the Shiv Sena came after a delegation of the NESO comprising KSU, AASU, GSU, AMSU, TSF, AAPSU, MZP and NSF, met its chief Uddhav Thackerey in Mumbai on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Shiv Sena chief assured the delegation that the party is against the CAB and will vote against it if it is brought in the Rajya Sabha.
He also said that he shares the concerns of the people of North East on the issue of CAB even as he assured the delegation that he will also talk to other political parties to seek their support in opposing this bill.
