Farmers’ body demands MSP in state

SHILLONG: The president of Hill Farmer Union (HFU), Commander Shangpliang, recently met the convenor of All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC), VM Singh, in Delhi.
In a statement issued here, Shangpliang said the AIKSCC has been demanding implementation of Minimum Support Price (MSP) by the Centre and farm loan waiver.
In this connection, Shangpliang has extended his support to the demands of the AIKSCC and also demanded implementation of MSP in Meghalaya.
