SHILLONG: The Indian Navy on Tuesday resumed its work with the ROV in the main shaft and searched for the second body in the rat hole.
Earlier on February 9, the Navy had stopped using ROV for the maintenance of the machine.
An official said the machine which developed technical snag was repaired and is ready for use.
However, on Wednesday, the ROV found it difficult to carry out search due to turbidity, lack of space, and obstacles like polythene and clothes.
Pumping of water from two old shafts continued by various agencies without any intervals.
