Reshuffle in state police

SHILLONG: The state government has effected a major reshuffle in the state police department with several officers of the IGP level being transferred.
As per Thursday’s notification, Deputy Inspector General of Police (ER), AR Mawthoh has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Training)-cum-Director, Meghalaya Police Academy replacing FG Kharshiing, who has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (CID). (Contd from P-5) Deputy Inspector General of Police (SB) SS Kynjing has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration). Ricky Dkhar, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Security) will replace Kynjing. Dkhar shall look after the current duties of DIG (security) in addition to his own duties.
MK Dkhar, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (ER) while RJ Rodborne, Superintendent of Police (Communication),Shillong has been posted as SP (C) Tura.
