Heavy trucks barred from weak bridges

TURA: The West Garo Hills district administration has prohibited heavy vehicles from plying on the Kherapara-Deku Bazar road because the bridge at Rimrangpara is damaged.
The order is with immediate effect and will remain in force until further orders.
Meanwhile, the PWD (Roads), Williamnagar Division, has also prohibited plying of heavy vehicles on the weak bridge located 4km from the Rongrenggre-Simgsanggre-Nengkhra Road.
The order will come into force with immediate effect.
