AGP member quits party, to join NPP

GUWAHATI: Just days after retired IPS officer from Assam, Dilip Borah quit Asom Gana Parishad to join National People’s Party (NPP) as its state convenor, another primary member of the regional party has announced his decision to join the Conrad Sangma-led party.

In yet another setback for the Atul Bora-led party, AGP spokesperson, Diwas Phookan who had joined the regional party in 2016, on Tuesday announced his resignation from all posts of the party.
