Bus handyman killed in mishap

TURA: The handyman of a bus was crushed to death after its wheels fell on him while he was undertaking maintenance works in Tura on Friday morning.

The incident took place in the Hawakhana bus stand area at around 11 AM when the driver moved the bus unaware that his handyman was engaged in repairs beneath the vehicle.

According to police, the driver of the bus tried to move his vehicle to make space for the arrival of another public bus and in the process the tyres of the vehicle crushed his handyman.
