Ex-NPP MDC joins Congress

TURA: The GHADC MDC from Darugre (Rongjeng) constituency in East Garo Hills, who last year quit the NPP over denial of party ticket for the state election, has joined the Congress.
Mettrinson G Momin, who also happens to be the deputy chairman of GHADC, joined the Congress in presence of former chief minister Mukul Sangma in Rongjeng on Thursday.
Along with him, two former candidates from Rongjeng, Janseng Marak and Raphius Marak, who were defeated in the last assembly polls, also joined the Congress.
