Cycle rally organised in Tura

TURA: A cycle rally was organised as part of the concluding function of the month long observation of Poshan Pakwara in the district of West Garo Hills by organising various programmes for women and children.
The rally started from Chandmary Playground to Dakopgre, Tura on Friday. The programme was organised by District Programme Officer, ICDS Cell, Tura in collaboration with Health and Family Welfare Department, Tura.
It aims to create awareness on nutrition and adolescent health among children and women in the district.
Deputy Commissioner West Garo Hills, Ram Singh, DPO, ICDS Cell, Tura, H Ch Sangma, District Sports Officer, officials and staff of concerned department, enthusiast cyclist of the town attended the programme.
