SHILLONG: The state government has invited applications for admission to the All India Services Pre-Examination Training Centre (AISPETC) for ST, SC and OBC candidates.
A statement issued on Tuesday said eligible candidates whose parents are safaiwalas are also eligible for admission.
Candidates who have passed degree examination with a minimum of 50 per cent average marks in aggregate and who have not undergone training in any of the pre-examination centres in the country and intend to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination, 2020, will be eligible for enrolment. The coaching will be imparted through English medium.
The last date for receipt of applications is April 19. Printed application forms may be obtained from the office of the OSD, AISPETC, Additional Secretariat Building, MATI premises on working days between 11am-3pm on payment of Rs 20. No request for forms will be entertained thereafter. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the office notice board at 1 pm on May13. Classes will commence from June 3.
