SHILLONG: The FKJGP, Ri-War Mihngi circle and Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC), Ri War Mihngi, claim that labourers working in some construction sites do not possess labour license and work permits.

The two organizations conducted a joint inspection of labourers and claim to come across labourers who work in CHC Pynursla, have not obtained labour license.

Further, the two organisations also inspected private construction sites in Mawryngkang and Lapalang and found that locals use the services of such labourers.

The organisations have urged the tribals to inform them if they come across any non-tribal labourer.
