Conclave
The State Level Fish Farmers’ Conclave 2019 will be held April 25 and 26 at State Convention Centre. The inaugural programme will be on April 25 at 10 am. Fisheries Minister, C Ymbon will be the chief guest.
Cleaning drive
K L Mawlong, the secretary, cremation ground committee, Seng Khasi Kmie, Mawkhar, Shillong informed that a cleaning programme of the Cremation ground of the Seng Khasi at Jaïaw, Shillong is fixed on April 28 from 9 am.
Celebration
The YWCA of Shillong celebrated the world YWCA Day, 2019 at Fair Haven hostel. This year’s theme was “Young Women Transforming Power Structure”. It was attended by members and hostellers.
Meeting
The Social and Developmental Meeting of the mid-day meal workers under the Shillong URC will be held on April 27 at 10 am at Assam Club Hall, Laban, Shillong. The aim of the meeting is to discuss the emergency issues regarding problems and grievances face by the workers. Hence, all workers are requested to attend.
