Rights panel without chairman

SHILLONG: After the chairperson of Meghalaya Human Rights Commission Justice Aftab H Saikia retired two months ago, the rights panel is functioning without a chairman.
An official source said that currently, the panel is functioning with the lone member, PJP Hanaman.
It was in June 2016 that the chairperson and the lone member were appointed.
