Peddler held
Manoj Saha and Sulaman Sheikh, who were suspiciously standing near MTC compound, Quinton Road, were apprehended on May 20 around 8 pm along with 6,745 Yaba tablets packed in 34 different plastics.
Threat
Wanraikini Khonglam lodged a complaint that on May 18 around 5:50 pm, she received a text message on her mobile, wherein the sender threatened to kill her if she does not pay Rs. 5 lakh.
Accident
A scooter (ML-05L-9939) ridden by Sylvester Nongsiej (24 yrs), knocked down Sbeling Lyngdoh on May 13 around 10 pm at Mawlai Iewrynghep. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital, where the attending medical officer declared him brought dead.
