SHILLONG/NONGPOH: Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee wishes to place on record its deep appreciation and gratitude to the voters of the state for their all out support towards the resounding victory of Vincent H. Pala, for the third consecutive term from Shillong Parliamentary Constituency and also for the support to Former chief minister Mukul Sangma from Tura Parliamentary Constituency and for reposing faith and trust in the party.
Meghalaya PCC also wishes to recognise the hard and sincere work put up by the Party MLAs, MDCs Ex-MLAs, Ex-MDCs, PCC Functionaries, the DCC and BCC Presidents & Members, the Chief and Members of Frontal Organisations and all party workers and well wishers from BCC to the DCC and to the PCC level, for the unstinted support and contributions towards the good performance of the party in the just concluded election to the Lok Sabha.
The National People’s Party, North East Coordination Committee (NPP-NECC) conveyed its congratulations to the victory of its candidate, Agatha Sangma on being elected as Member of Parliament from Tura Parliamentary Assembly seat in the Lok Sabha elections.
NPP-NECC general secretary Dibishon Mallai while talking to The Shillong Times, stated that in fact as members of the party they were confident of the victory considering the performance and competency of Agatha Sangma as a leader.
Mallai also expressed optimistic that the victory of Agatha Sangma will be a source of inspiration to deliver the set goals before her as a leader to bring about a change in the economy, welfare and security of the people of the region.
Further, Mallai also congratulated the party candidate, Ferlin CA Sangma on winning the bye-election from Salsella constituency which clearly shows that the people of the state have confident under the leadership of Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, who is also the party’s National President.
