Church clarifies on Sohra clash

SHILLONG: Members of the Kongthong Presbyterian Church on Saturday clarified that church elders were not involved in the clash in Sohra on Tuesday.
Earlier, police made it clear that the brawl was between two groups of Sordars, one appointed by the District Council and Syiem while the other was appointed by the people.
The church has also expressed concern over the incident.
