Unpaid dues
Rama Ramana Padhey, Assistant General Manager, SBI, RASMECCC, Shillong, lodged a complaint that Alexander N Jyrwa of Lower Lachumiere was sanctioned three car loans from Shillong Branch office and has, at present, Rs. 11,66,304 plus accrued interest outstanding. Despite repeated reminders, the borrower did not regularise the accounts which made the accounts non-performing account.

Residents of Mawkyrwat, Lad-Mawten, South West Khasi Hills, apprehended one Donborlang Thongni (21) on June 29 around 12:30 am while he was stealing vehicle spare parts from the garage of Michael Nongbsap.
Priyanku Deka lodged a complaint that while he, along with his driver, were proceeding from Agartala towards Guwahati in a vehicle, three unidentified miscreants snatched cash around Rs. 8,000 and mobile phones from them at Lumshnong, East Jaintia Hills.

One woman lodged a complaint that on June 22, she learnt that her son had deposited Rs. 10,000 in the SBI account of Sankar Sarkar, whom he had befriended through Facebook after being induced by the accused who promised to give her son a Teer forecast number.
