SHILLONG: NPP MLA from Rongara Siju constituency Rakkam A Sangma has expressed dissatisfaction with the working style of the bureaucrats in the state.
“I don’t have any doubt in their ability and efficiency, but I am not satisfied with their working style,” Sangma told reporters.
Citing instances when he had to call the bureaucrats ten to fifteen times to enquire on various projects and funds, Sangma said that he is forced to intervene and call them a number of times to enquire on the status of some of the projects and funds.
“I therefore request them to be more efficient for the development of the state as we are here to serve the people and they are the pillars of our government,” he added.
He also informed that he has discussed the matter with Chief Minister Conrad Sangma as well.
