MFA volunteer programme

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Football Association (MFA) has announced the initiation of a structured volunteer programme for the new season of the Meghalaya Baby League and other MFA events and has invited those interested to apply, a statement issued here informed. “The objective of the programme is to provide short-term work experience and skill upgradation for unemployed youth and give them productive work on weekends in roles that will help them build on their leadership and responsibility capabilities. It will also act as a community-building activity and prepare the volunteers for opportunities in sports and other fields,” the statement read. As many as 60 openings are available and the applications are to be submitted at the office of the MFA during office hours, excluding Sunday, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Polo, Shillong, or via email at [email protected], within July 30.
