SHILLONG: A personnel of the Meghalaya Police 3rd Bn, Rinaldi Manner, who is currently posted in New Delhi, sustained bullet injuries on his chin and face and was admitted in a hospital.
When contacted, Additional DGP Heimonlang Nongpluh said that he sustained injuries from his own rifle and said it was unclear whether he intended to commit suicide or had mistakenly shot himself.
