Sawkmie, BJP condole Jaitley’s demise

SHILLONG: Congress legislator P T Sawkmie and BJP RR Colony local unit have condoled the death of former union minister and BJP leader Arun Jaitley.
Sawkmie said the contribution of Jaitley is immense which benefited the country. “His amiable nature attracted many irrespective of party affiliations”, Sawkmie said. The leaders of BJP RR colony local unit recalled the contribution of Jaitley as minister of finance and defence. The members also observed two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
