Sankardev cultural centre stages Bhaona

SHILLONG: A theatrical performance (Bhaona) was staged at the Naamghar premises, Bishnupur in the city on Sunday evening by the members and devotees of the centre.
The play “Bhisma Parba” is a story drawn from the epic Mahabharata based on a war between Kourava” and Pandava.
The roles were performed by Pradip Sarma, Tiken Talukdar, Babulal Hazarika, Surajit Hazarika, Mahesh Khataniar, Paresh Deka and a few child actors. Jugal Sarma acted the role of Bhisma. The director is Dhon Das from Nagaon, Assam.
