Bike stolen
Dilip N Sangma of Ballonggre village lodged a complaint that on August 17, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-08F-1719) which was parked near Gambegre, Tura (WGH).

Caught red-handed
On September 2, Deibormi Pakyntein was caught red-handed while he was attempting to steal car tape from a vehicle which was parked at Khlieh Iewduh, parking lot, Shillong.

Fraud
Pranuti Hazarika of 9th Mile Hastinapur, Assam lodged a complaint at Khanapara PS (RB) that on September 1, around 6.15 pm, she received an SMS informing her of fraudulent withdrawals of Rs 71,000 from her account.

Burglary
Susanna Syiemiong lodged a complaint that on August 31, at about 7.30 pm, she noticed that miscreants had broke into her residence at Lumpyngngad, Motinagar, Shillong and stole three diamond rings, ruby ring, blue sapphire ring, a chain and pendant, one digital camera and a pair of red earring.
Mark A Swer of 3-Pines Colony, Laban lodged a complaint that on August 28, between 2 and 4 pm, miscreants broke into his residence and stole household items valued around Rs. 1,16,500.

Theft
Roilakson Suchiang, Headman, Mulieh village (WJH) lodged a complaint that on August 30 around 7.30 pm, miscreants stole ten streetlight solar batteries installed at various locations of the village.
Merlin Gatphoh lodged a complaint that on August 31, circa 6 pm, her son apprehended two persons Sandy Kharkongor (20) and Wadborlang Khongwir (28), while they were attempting to sell six tyres with rims, a roll of barbed wire, an iron flower pot and a Videocon Dish TV, which were stolen from her residence at Laitkor Rngi, Shillong, to a scrap dealer at Laitkor, Shillong. Later, the accused persons were handed over to Police. On their leading, Police recovered one TV, one speaker, one pair of Moto GP Racing Boots and TV stand from Laitkor Rngi, Shillong.

Fake RC
Sengban K Sangma, District Transport Officer, South West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on Aug 29, Tisan D Sangma who purchased one second hand motorcycle (ML-14-2107) which was purportedly registered in the name of Hosinur Islam, came to Office of DTO, South West Garo Hills at Ampati for fixing the HSRP. However, during scrutiny, the Registration Certificate of the motorcycle was found fake with forged signature of the DTO.

JCB missing
Hirosh T Sangma and Pobitro Mazumdar jointly lodged a complaint that on August 23, Parimal Mondal of Govindopur, Goalpara, Assam along with his accomplices, took their JCB (Earth Mover) to Goalpara, Assam for repairing. However, till date they failed to deliver to JCB to the complainants and are also avoiding their phone calls.

Duped
Eligious G Momin of Ampati, South West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on August 23, a caller informed that her ATM has been blocked and asked for its details. Later, she found that Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 5,018 were fraudulently withdrawn from her account.
