70 cattle heads seized from B’desh border, East Jaintia Hills

JOWAI: The Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills has informed that the BSF personnel of Hawaitilla seized 25 numbers of cattle on September 11 at 7.50 pm and 45 numbers of cattle on September 13 at 8.15 pm intended for smuggling while patrolling along the international border falling under Muktapur PP jurisdiction. The SP has urged the owners and people with knowledge of recent cattle theft to approach Muktapur PP.
