SHILLONG: A meeting of the convocation of all SSA LP Schools Teachers of Meghalaya was held on Thursday in North Garo Hills District where all the SSA LP Schools’ teachers of Garo Hills took part in the meeting.
An association was formed after the meeting and was named as ‘Meghalaya Shamagra Shiksha Abhyan Lower Primary Schools teachers’ Association’ (MSSALPSTA). Office bearers for the term of three years were also selected during the meeting.
As per information by the president of MSSALPSTA Pran Marak, the association will be installing its units one by one in all the districts and blocks starting from Bajengdoba Block in the second week of October. He has urged all SSA LP schools teachers of Meghalaya to cooperate in unison.
