Road woes in NH-6

SHILLONG: The United Hynniewtrep Movement (UHM) East Jaintia Hills apprised on the bad road condition of National Highway-6 with cars stranded for nearly 4 hours. In a statement issued here, the movement’s EJH district president, Yoomeki Kyndait said NH-6 is in a dilapidated condition which has affected the people travelling along the road from Lumshnong to Ratacherra.
He added that the road is far worse from Sonapur till the border areas of Assam. They have requested the concerned authorities to look into the issue.
