NEHUSU demand
The NEHU Students’ Union has welcomed the President of India to its campus. In a statement issued here, the NEHUSU said that the President should know about the hardships of the students in the university as most of the first semester students are yet to get hostel allotments. “There is lack of transportation to cater the University students in and out the campus and there is statutory violation of the Administration,” the release said. The NEHUSU also urged the President to not appoint Vice Chancellor SK Shrivastava for another term.
