Citrus Festival on Dec 13

TURA: The district Horticulture department of East Garo Hills will organise a one-day ‘Citrus Festival 2019’ at Daribokgre village, located on the foothills of Nokrek National Biosphere on December 13.
The District Horticulture Officer, V Renthlei, stated that the festival aims to showcase different species of citrus grown in the district and also to give farmers an opportunity to display their citrus fruits and fruit products.
Williamnagar MLA and the Government Chief Whip, Marcuise N Marak will be the chief guest for the programme.
The festival is scheduled to start from 10 am.
