SHILLONG: The platinum jubilee badminton open championship organised by the Nongthymmai Sports Club has entered the second day on Thursday. The second day also witnessed the emerging and new talents which gave hope to the sport of badminton in the state. Organisers were thrilled by the turn out of a good numbers of participants which was more than hundred. On Friday, the tournament will move into the quarter and semi-finals respectively. Also the 55 years category will be commenced on Friday.
