Blankets distributed in WJH villages

SHILLONG: Blankets were distributed to the residents Iooksi Iapkhla, Iooksi Kyanmynsar and Priang village, West Jaintia Hills on Thursday.
In the run up to Christmas, the District Executive Force organised a programme at Iooksi Kyanmynsar village West Jaintia Hills District, where 100 blankets were given to the residents of Iooksi Iapkhla, Iooksi Kyanmynsar and Priang villages as part of its welfare activities.
The programme was attended by MJ Marngar, MPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Hqr), In-Charge Saphai Outpost along with police personnel, headman of Iooksi Kyanmynsar and Iooksi Iapkhla including members of the Village Defense Party.
The WJH-DEF is thankful to all its well-wishers for sponsoring the blankets. They also appealed to all members of the public to maintain peace during this festive season.
