Shillong: A strong bowling performance saw Meghalaya dismiss Bihar on the first day of their Ranji Trophy match for just 208 in Patna on Monday.
Meghalaya won the toss and chose to field and with clinical performance with the ball, had Bihar on the ropes, as the hosts reduced to 118/7 at one point.
However, a strong fightback and late order partnership saw Bihar recover the initial blow. Aditya Singhania managed a breakthrough just before tea and then rolled up Bihar for the score of 208 all out.
Singhania finished with figures of 4/59, while Mark Ingty took 3/17 as well as effecting a run out.
In their first innings Meghalaya reached 18 without loss by stumps, trailing by 190 runs.
They will resume on Tuesday with Wallam Lyngdoh Kynshi (11) and Purjait Mandal (6) at the crease.
